Arrggh! I can't believe what just happened today. I took my wife's new 2016 Jeep in to have it serviced and one item looked at for a warranty claim. Mind you it only has barely 10K miles and is less than a year old. The service writer had the nerve to say what I wanted done wasn't under recall. I told her it was a new car. I wasn't a asking about a recall. That it was a new car and should be covered by the bumper-to-bumper warranty. Then asked, "Did you get any papers from Jeep indicating you car had a warranty?" I nearly lost it. I just told her that I was going to find another dealer and left. As soon as I was in the car about to leave the service manager came out and stuck his head in through the drivers window. I wasn't about to hear him out. Obviously the training of the service writers was his responsibility and he has sadly FAILED. He backed out of the car and I put in reverse and left the dealership.

After getting my Skoda back after the Haldex pump failed (4 wheel drive system), I head off for a weekend away and guess what... another spring broke! So much for these 'hardy' crossovers!
On the other hand though, the dealer did give me 20% discount on the repair, possibly because of the trouble I have had.
It is six years old and done only 43,000 miles so he didn't have to do that. No complaints there... just with SKODA!
