It would be my pleasure... and my dragons also protect my friends.

Hi Brian
Do not think that just because,
A friendly warning given,
Means that either of you
won't from this place be driven.
be off with you for 'pon my word
If you come back you'll feel my sword!

Wait, what is this, can it really be true?
You argue about who wins?
Well listen, friends, do you hear that?
I believe the fat lady sings!!

How am I supposed to win with so many good authors about to blow me away?
Also, one of the few places that has a high level of employment, 98% in Munich, I believe... and it shows.
yep, sure would. I chose that café because we often use it when we visit.
I am afraid I have a 'thing' for Munich and Bavaria in general.
If I could move there I certainly would.

Markets so busy you struggled to walk round them

High streets that had lots and lots of interesting little shops (not the modern charity shops/estate agents/vape shops and fast-food outlets)

Cosy little cafes that sold home-cooked food

Red telephone boxes

Men wearing fedora hats (I've recently started wearing one!)

Women who made their own clothes (my mum made dresses for herself and my two sisters when we were all little kids)

Policemen on the beat in your area

Fireworks that were only heard on November 5th (in the UK)

Cars that had individuality and distinction, unlike modern 'clone cars' that all follow pretty-much the same design.

Busses that had hop-on/hop-off open platforms at the back and a conductor/conductress.

Fuel that doesn't cost and arm and a leg!

You would like Bavaria:

Busy Markets? Tick

Individual shops? Tick (And excellent department stores as we used to have)

Cosy cafes with excellent food? Tick

Men wearing hats? Tick (Maybe not fedora but Bavarian ones)

Policemen on the beat? Tick

Ok, 6 out of 11 isn't bad but there is one more excellent thing that happens in Bavarian towns and cities...

THE SHOPS DON'T OPEN ON SUNDAYS! HOORAY!!!

Bavaria it is.

I'll meet you at that nice little café in the corner of the market square, okay?

More than ok! How about a nice little café, ON the market?

Youngsters that give up their seat on bus or tram for elderly people and pregnant women

Guess what... They do in Munich!
My husband has a stick and someone always offers him a seat on the tram, train, etc.
I was amazed when it first happened but that is how they are.
Rhyme away, Rebellious Soul,
The more the merrier I say!
But you won't win, you mark my words,
For we are here to stay!

I agree, a very sad loss and at a relatively young age. R.I.P. Ziggy.

But, right now, I am listen to the sound of tangy cheese Doritos being crushed between my teeth.
Your words are sweet and so, it seems,
So very hard to beat.
So maybe I should let you stay,
Remain here in your seat.
My friend and I, inseparable,
will leave you here alone,
To win the game, claim victory,
The king upon his throne...

Ha! No! Be off with you!

I'll take my time and look around,
before the light doth dim,
Maybe sit and ponder some
Just me, myself and him...

Anna lives, the fight goes on,
and at the end she'll stay.
A SAM is surely not enough,
a Dragon for to slay.
So take your chair, sweep up the ash,
Hang you head in shame
I am here to hold this place
For ANNA is my name!
