I wish I had enough money, not just to top up my phone, which I use for internet, but also to go and visit Aria. I'd never leave.
...And begin a life worth livin'
that's what she said to him,
said he was wasting his life,
she told him to smarten up or leave,
the boy left, came back years later.
He began a silly boy, ended a man,
she married that man,
that man is me.
I love her and she loves me.
Favourite published author would be a close call between HP Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe. On ss, my top three are, in no particular order: Aria, Gypsy and Maggie Rascal.
I'm gonna repeat Aria's question: favourite author, either published or here?
You'd be snuggled in your spot, we would be asleep and I'd be holding you.
If I showed you a picture of a cassette tape and a pencil, would you know the correlation?
Fruit please.
Popcorn or chips? (Ooh, I'm using the American meaning of chips!)
Oh, I'm fine, just a little insane, you know, as you do.
Hmmm *strokes beard* Blueberries in muffins, cherries in yoghurt. Just don't "have another cherry".
Cheese or onion?
I'm blushing, just so ya know! Well, I'd be wearing an actual suit. I'm with you on the sushi, or some sort of Japanese place. Maybe some seafood joint. I'd love to have a candlelight dinner, maybe hit the bar for one or two drinks, but not too much. Then a walk along the beach, if there is one, if not then in a wooded area, watch the sunset and then back home for lots of snugglage.
Do you have a favourite lullaby?
Rock! Though, if some wacky person decided to fuse the two, well, that might be fun!
Windmills or Giant fruit flies?
Nothing but my glasses.
What's your ideal date?
I wish I had the courage to sing
Rain, please.
Take the stairs or the lift?
Deleted again? You mean our last reign of terror was deleted?
No music.
Conversation or mews?
Evil Kitten! Now I need to get off my fat arse and check! Jinkies, it's bright, with a light breeze and looks like it's gonna be quite a warm day. Not that I'll see it, I'll be spending most of it in bed.
Have you ever seen a bird of prey in the wild?
Indeed, plus it's nice and relaxing.
*Strokes beard* I think chat/cuddle/other. Making love sounds fun, after such a good evening.
Lights on or lights off?
That's a tough question, actually, I have a lot of fears. But I'll go with not having the capacity to love. I love to love and if that's taken away from me, I'd be very empty.
What are you wearing just now?
A bit of both, methinks. Being all snuggled looking at the stars sounds really good to me.
Once we're home, will we have a cup of tea or coffee to warm up?
Hmm, I think we'll just go for no destination and see where it leads.
If the sun hasn't yet set, will we watch it setting, or just head home?
A movie, I'd say. Either Disney's Aladdin, or Moulin Rouge! Or maybe both, back to back.
Shall we go for an after dinner walk, or snuggle some more?
If I was being lazy, I'd order delivery, but if I was wooing a certain Kitten, I'd cook.
Eat at the table or on the couch in front of the TV?
Used bookstore, definitely. There's nothing so good as browsing all the old books, smelling them, being delicate with them and knowing that someone else has had the pleasure of them and is now passing them on to someone else for them to enjoy. Also, as I mentioned, the smell is phenomenal.
What is it about being on a boat that makes you wanna wave to everyone?
Happy and excited for tonight, for tonight is time with my wee Kitten, whom I love very much.
Either my feet, or bicycle.
What is love?
I really want to as well. Maybe a wee short call, that can't hurt can it?
The hardest word said is always goodbye,
But let's not cry,
For tomorrow is another day,
On which we can say,
I love you.
How do you think of titles for your stories/poems?
I have this tendency to write first, title later and when I am writing a longer piece, I generally give it a working title and refine it later.
Do you have a process for making titles, or do they just sometimes come to you?
It has been said that a good title can make or break a story, do you agree?
You know, when I first thought of this thread, it was a lot more eloquent, but the gist is, I'd like to know your thought processes on titles, if you please.
Recliner, though at the moment I'm on a sofa with a footstool. I want a recliner though.
Ant and Dec or PJ and Duncan? (You'll get it if you're British, probably).
