Stomach grippe is flooding the area, young and old.

Elizabeth... I was just wondering... did you notice the title of this thread, perchance? 😉🤣

Old eyes struggle to see.

Perchance I did and perchance I didn't Anna.

See strange bright lights beaming.

"You see what this guy did in his first draft? Don't do that!"

Still laughing. Hey, not so bad (yes, it is). Giggle. Watching the game now. I just know the Nats in those new fabulous uniforms will win tonight. Yep.

Absolutely breath-taking! Let me know how those players did today. I have the Nationals - Mets game on. Muakkkk kiss

I hate for you to feel lonely Mr. Ape. I would love some iced tea, even though it is freezing here for an April day in Virginia. But this coming week, high 70's, so the weather is going to take a warm turn evidently. But I love iced tea anytime.

Boy, those Nationals just drew blood from the Mets last night. Wrong. It went as expected and Nationals lost. I hope your teams come through. But I will continue to be loyal. And keep hoping. Thank you and our dear Sara for taking care of us all.

You know things are bad when you ask why this tank was installed new in 2015 and rusted through so soon and the answer is a shrug and "they just don't make metal like they used to" giggle.

Good morning everyone.

Baseball season has begun! Good fun game, though I'm sure those rooting for the Nats probably feel differently. It'll be fun to see Scherzer get a lengthy ovation in DC tonight.

Back to writing after a day off yesterday. I've got 25k words to go. Time to push.

A coffee and a baseball cookie please!

You probably know (or don't) that Apple TV took away our right to have the game televised. If you aren't an Apple person. So, I will just have to follow online for the score, inning by inning. It was a good game last night and your "alternate" pitcher creamed them (except once).

Enjoy your cookies.

Mine is married but there hasn't been a big celebration yet. Maybe this year once our "6th wave" (which really seems like a resurgent 5th but whatever) is over. They just had a private ceremony with an imam (she's Muslim) in Ottawa where they live. We weren't part of it due to being on the outs with him at the time but we get on well with them now.

Congratulations and I do hope all goes well. We take each day and find something to smile about. I'm surprised it was so easy for her to have a religious ceremony, maybe they aren't that strict. Good.

Tomorrow we get to watch my youngest son get married in Germany. This was supposed to be their "courthouse" wedding. They are planning a bigger celebration later for all family and friends. But now it's taking place in a castle. We'll enjoy the festivities online with my parents. We will be on mute, so my father can't be heard saying anything rude or offensive. Our son's fiance wrote us the most beautiful letter assuring us that she will do everything she can to make sure we are always included in their lives, and we will never be sorry that our son moved away from us. It cemented to us that she is too good for our son, lol. We can' wait until we can visit them.

I hope everyone is doing well. Have a great weekend.

Oh, brings tears to my eyes. How wonderful that she wrote that. That means a lot. I know as I have a married son and his wife means well, but she has her family that take a lot of her time. Plus teaching 5th grade and raising massive amounts of goats. I know, I know. But, don't want to have boring relatives. She is the best mom to my grandsons, so I'm happy.

You know things are bad when it takes mega money for the plumbers to replace the well holding tank with a hole in the bottom.

how medical devices end up on the market in the US and how it is even bigger a lobbying and money making industry than big Pharma. It was eye-opening.

Well, Gill, that certainly wasn't something to lift your mood. Seems you can look under anything and come up with greed. We are masters of greed in the U.S. and many other countries.

Would rather talk about my bluebells blooming. An absolute joy in my area as they cover fields everywhere until the trees leaf out to block sunshine. So, for a few weeks - beauty galore:

Elizabeth I'm using the stool when I bake .

I'm being careful only thing I did last night at the dinner & auction was watch the little kids play games and told them a scamp adventure story.

I'll be here to watch the games

So glad to hear you took good care last night. Phew! And telling them a Scamp story. Love it. You will get a kick out of this: my friend's granddaughter just turned 6 and opened the car door to get in to be driven to school and her dad had forgotten to put her booster seat in. She looked and said "What the...What" Evidently all the kids in her class say that - I'm going to copy.

Thanks for the good wishes with our baseball teams, same to you. Hugs. kiss
