Things are best avoided today.
I have. I have to think someone went to trouble to find them and I will check one or two occasionally. Sadly, I can't seem to keep up with all the good work published here. Glad you drew attention to this. Always good to have a reminder.
I smile at Gill's report on the Northern Neck. She is absolutely right about access to top quality medical care. Richmond is it.
And I spent years disagreeing with my husband about moving permanently to our weekend place in the Shenandoah Valley. Thought I would have nothing to do or anyone to talk to except farm wives and I wasn't raising crops or animals.
But lo and behold, it has been great. Have large group of good women friends and not one of them milks cows. All imports from D.C. area. We are on the Shenandoah River and while it is small where we are, still beautiful with the mountains in the back drop. Good shopping and medical care is almost an hour away (like Richmond) but there is plenty of choices (Winchester, Harrisonburg, UVA at Charlottesville. People living here get used to driving much farther than I ever thought I'd get used to.
Scott, I know you would love to be on the Lake and hope it all works out.
Needs or wants, who knows?
The leaves are turning and so much to really enjoy.
Perhaps a brand new start.
Today I feel mellow because had a nice road trip to enjoy the leaves and weather.
