The blood remembers what the rotten, decayed flesh forgets. Blood stains souls, it lingers, even in the void, it penetrates dimensions and alters reality. It never ceases.
This blood carries power, energy. Those who know how to wield it can use it like magic, even to become immortal.
But it must be spilled in almost unfathomable quantities. Quantities only one creature in the Universe has ever managed to reach. Behold Lance, the eternal Death Stalker.
But it had been what seemed like centuries since the master of all things pain had been heard from or seen. The blood almost ran cold.
More centuries passed, even eons, and it was now well into the 30th millennium, a time of great technology, the singularity had come and gone, religion was abolished, and the last survivors of a dying cosmos herded together in droves on various worlds in Mega-cities. One of them being Acropolis Mortis, the City of the Dead. Pure organic life had ceased to exist, and true A.I. had taken over.
Rumors of Lance almost began to fade. However, he existed, whether you believe he does or not. His true origin remains a mystery. And perhaps should remain so. Why would someone seek out such knowledge as it would certainly lead to their untimely death.
But no matter his true past, he was unstoppable, harbored a blood lust unmatched in all of time, and would soon re-emerge, more sadistic than ever before!
But first, some of Lance’s earlier conquests must be explored. Sessions 1 and 2 explore his early times, or what is thought to be so. While during Session 3, he reunites with Deita Mordidia, lover, or huntress? Session 4, the “meat” of the story, is heralded by pain, and details his return to Acropolis, and hence the beginning of a storm of suffering that has never been witnessed before.
This is his on-going story, The Lance Saga.
