"Liking" Comments

I really appreciate all the votes and comments I have been receiving, and I hit "like" for the comments. Or I think I do: meaning, when I go back and look, the "like" area is still blue, so I hit it again, and it turns gray. Then, later, I go back, and it is blue again. So I hit it again. So, are my "likes" registering? Am I overliking? How can I tell?

Thanks, Ginger. Now, when I go back and look at the comments, they are all "blue." I am going to hit "like" again. Please let me know if it shows up again on your time line, when you get a chance.

your likes show up every time you hit it. They turn blue to show you, you did, but they'll revert to grey on refresh. There are basicly two ways to know, if you already liked:
Your memory
Your activity list. You find the link to it on the friends activity list.
If life seems jolly rotten
there's something you've forgotten
and that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing

Hi Talia

Unfortunately you can't, you need to keep track of the last person you thanked which believe me isn't easy if you receive a lot of comments.

I know you are probably wondering why I am replying as I only published once here but I have published many on the red site...What I tend to do is leave the liking until the last comment is a personal friend that way I have a better chance of remembering the last one I liked.

That said though, I wouldn't worry about it too much. At least you take the time to like them which is polite and one can never be too polite imo especially when people have taken the time to read your work...It happens to me all the time that other friends like comments I made on their stories multiple times which appears on my timeline.

I don't worry about it though as I know its so easily done seen's as you say once you return to the page it doesn't show who's you have and haven't liked thus far.

Like I said I wouldn't worry about it, I have yet to have anyone complain to me that I have accidentally liked a comment more than once, the main thing is you take the time to do so as not all people do.
