Last Fall, I put out The Healer's Secret, the story of healer whose dark past comes back to haunt her

I always intended to continue Tana's story, and now part 2 of the saga is out. The Healer's Power picks up from a mention in the first story of a town's healer having gone mad and fled during the events of that story. Now Tana has a chance to help that healer, but only by calling on knowledge learned from her father, the sinister Night Lord.

There will be a third, too, picking up from the ending of this one, but I am just getting going on it.

A mighty warrior meets an unusual challenger. The Last Challenge of Jadek Prynn.

The third chapter is now up. Tana sets out to keep her pledge at the end of The Healer's Power to save her mother's spirit, but must plunge once again into the world of her dark father to do so.

The Healer's Spirit

And that's a wrap. I think. The third part of the Chronicles is, I think, the conclusion of Tana's story. While I might explore her world again, it will likely be with a new cast of characters and maybe move on a generation or something. As mentioned in the world-building thread, I might flesh out and explore the Denith Lorn, the priesthood mentioned a few times in the Chronicles. Or maybe pay a visit to some other region of the world. This trilogy has mostly been centred around the valley where Tana lives, save this final chapter which returns her to Tan Kolar, the palace of the Night Lord where she grew up. Might be nice to see what else is out there.

And in a rather surprising development, the owner of a web forum in France approached me for permission to translate The Chronicles of Tana the Healer for his site. We are both members on the support site for Xenforo, forum software that I use to run the site Wondercafe2, and I put links to my fiction in my sig there from time to time. He read and like the chronicles. Permission has been granted and chapter 1 is done and up. I knew I had something good with Tana but this was unexpected. C'est fantastique!

Update: The French gentleman repurposed his site and domain and no longer has the French copies of my stories online since they don't fit his current site.
