My wife and I collect cobalt blue glass. We have some nice things from across the country, and we got a large vase in England that is lovely.

I love Cobalt Blue glass! There is a place in Bristol, England which makes 'Bristol Blue Glass'. I visited once and watched them forming pieces, all by hand. It was beautiful and I fell in love with it but, sadly, it was too expensive and I couldn't afford to buy any back then.
I was very sad to learn, this week that my, and almost everyone else's favourite teacher, Mr Kelly, has passed away.
Since I am almost... erm… old... I guess he must have been somewhere around eighty by now.
I am aware that Mr. Kelly means absolutely nothing to any of you but if I tell you that I was in the same classes as Nick Park...
Who? I hear you say.
Well, Nick Park, for those who don't know, is the creator of Wallace and Grommit and the character of Wallace was inspired by none other than... Mr. Kelly.

Hung around town for hours waiting for new brake pipes to be fitted to my little Kia.
On the plus side, I got half a chapter written.
Coffee shops. My favourite place to write is Starbucks. For some reason I find it easy to write there and inspiration tends to come easily.
Whilst serving in the Royal Air Force (RAF) I was on an exchange visit to Northern Germany with a German navy flying Squadron (MFG2) One day, Our engineering officer asked who wanted to go on a brewery visit. Many hands shot up but mine wasn't one of them. I didn't mind drinking beer but going to a brewery and getting severely drunk was not really my idea of a great day out.
The officer then asked who didn't want to go on a brewery trip and, out of sheer mischief, my hand went up. To my despair, he then said everyone would go to the brewery except me. He had other plans for me.
Anyway, the following day, I found myself on a brand new, German fast patrol boat on sea trials in the Baltic sea. There were only two available places, one officer and one other rank hence the unorthodox way of choosing and no favouritism could be claimed.
I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Best day ever!

Since this thread has lost its way
and the protagonists are now at bay
I'll bring it back
and there'll be no flack
and that's the way it will stay.
Käsekrainer. (German/Austrian sausage with cheese stuffing) in a crusty roll with mustard and ketchup. Best hotdog ever!
1st October 1946 Germany's Deputy Fuhrer, Rudolph Hess - captured in Scotland after mysteriously parachuting from a plane during World War II - was sentenced to life imprisonment.
So, you have no idea,
as to why you're here.
Well let me put you straight
For you know I would hate
to leave you in decline
while I'm at the end of the line.
I think you're a little confused
as the front is where you are used
to spending most of your time.
Not here, at the end of the line.

There, doesn't that feel so much better?

We already have a Plays category.

Oh yes, so we have...

What about play scripts. I really don't care. I have no fleas to scratch.

Play scripts is a good idea. But, in reality, you do care otherwise, why did you even make the suggestion? You and other members are what makes a site what it is, not just the Admin, moderators and facilitators.
