This is funny, Larry and it reminds me that until fairly recently, to me anyway, when we watched American TV shows we here in the UK and possibly the rest of Europe too, were often thrown as to how old a show might be because the fashions were so far behind ours. If it helps, my technical knowledge of poetry is less than zero and I am sure I am not alone... although I could be.

Anyway, I think that genre would be a better split rather than type because I can only just differentiate a limerick from... erm… the others?
