Today I am grateful for the Security Cameras I recently had fitted around my Mum's (94) home.
Today she had a fall and I was able to check the recording and see that all was well. (I live fifty miles away)

Salvidor Dali who I go ape over.

I saw this on a school trip to Scotland; Glasgow Art Gallery. It still haunts me in the most wonderful way.


Dali painted some weird stuff but I always love what he does, especially the soft watches.



I don't like them enough to hang on a wall but the artwork is wonderful.

Chicken Paprikash

1 onion chopped
4 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp paprika
1 tsp black pepper
2 Tbsp salt
4-5 lbs chicken disjointed
2 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup sour cream

Brown onion in oil; add seasonings and chicken; brown 10 minutes. Add water; cover and let simmer until tender. Remove chicken; add sour cream to drippings in pan and mix well. Add dumplings; arrange chicken on top. Heat through and serve. Serves 4-6.

Dumplings for Paprikash-

3 eggs beaten
3 cups flour
1 Tbsp salt
1/2 cup water

Mix all ingredients together and beat with a spoon. Drop batter by teaspoonful into boiling salted water. Cook about 10 minutes , drain, rinse with cold water. Drain well and add to Paprikash.


That sounds delicious, I'll have to give it a go sometime.
