Up on YouTube just yesterday from Helene Fischer. A wonderful duet with a very talented 15-year-old from The Netherlands, Emma Kok. This is, Voilà

Hey, everyone. May not get on here again until after Christmas, so wanted to wish all of you a very merry Christmas!

I hope you all have a great holiday. Don't eat and drink too much! 🤣🎄🧑🏻‍🎄

By the way, did you ever wonder how Santa does it? 🤭

Christmas pudding with cream or custard?

During a visit to the Christmas market in Nuremberg several years ago, we chanced upon a carol concert in front of the Frauenkirche. That is a beautiful church on the edge of the market square. The little tots were junior school-aged, and they sang their hearts out. It was an absolute joy to see. One carol stood out for me, and because of that, it became one of my favourite carols. I hope you like it too.

Here is Heléne Fischer singing Kling Glotchen, Klingelingeling.

Currently bingeing on a French mini-series called (in England) Bonfire of Destiny.

It is a tale of three aristocratic women who are involved with the (Factual) blaze at the Charité Bazaar in Paris, 1897.

It is very well filmed and acted.

One is badly burned and is subsequently kidnapped by a woman whose daughter was killed, another escapes the fire only to be forced to marry someone she doesn't love, and the third is supposed to be there but doesn't go, but pretends to be dead to escape her abusive husband.

A song that amused me from the very time I heard it, all those years ago.

Johnny Cash - One piece at a time.
