The Who, 5:15
Over the next few days, I am going to begin removing my epic tale, The Nurses, from this site. Soon after, the second part, Kindred Spirits, Distant Hearts, and then the third story of the trilogy, The Long Road Home, will also disappear. The reason for this will soon be revealed.
In the meantime, I would like to offer my sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who read and enjoyed it. They had many thousands of hits.
For those who fell in love with Maria and Katarina, I am currently writing an off-shoot story.

Arjen Lucassen, a noted Dutch guitarist, producer, songwriter, and Lord knows what else, has put together a talented new band called Supersonic Revolution and launched them with a tribute to the seventies entitled The GlamAttack.
If this guy wasn't heavily influenced by another famous Dutch band, I'll eat my hat. All it's missing is Thijs Van Leer's Flute!
This is Birth from the superb 1974 album Hamburger Concerto by Focus.
I love the thought of living in an historical apartment block in a city where the apartments have high ceilings and huge doors. Where at the end of the day, I would come home, close the huge wooden entrance door behind me, and shut out the hustle and bustle of the city. Then, I would relax and hear the traffic outside as just a very faint background sound. I could look out over the rain-soaked city at night whilst I was warm and cosy. (My Dad's brother's family lived in a large Victorian house in London, and I used to love going there for Christmas as a child.)
Ok, that's a dream. In reality, Rural. 😊
Big Victorian house or country cottage?
