I like feelings. I think if you can convey the feeling of a scene, the looks sort of fall into place. I do like to leave just enough to the imagination, so that it becomes more personal to the reader/listener. I like the way Stephen King describes a scene, sometimes in gory detail, others just leaving it up to the reader to decide.

It's true that a dog isn't aware of it's own tail, but is the tail aware of the dog?
That's tough, considering the amount of gigs I see in a year. In terms of raw energy, David Grimason from Psyko Dalek (who have unfortunately split, but I think it's temporary). In terms of talent and enthusiasm, Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil. And finally, in terms of sexiness and pure emotion, KT Tunstall. If I had to pick a favourite out of the aforementioned, I think I'd go for Cristina Scabbia, with KT Tunstall coming a very close second.

Do you ever get so annoyed with people talking amongst themselves, even if they are being quiet and unannoying, that you just have to leave the room, so you don't do them an injury?
Well, I don't know him, but he seems like a really nice, family oriented gentleman. You don't see much of that these days, so it's refreshing when you do.
Grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. Gotta love a classic smile

Continuing the food theme: chips with salt and vinegar or a healthy salad?
"Aw, poor Watcher, did your life pass before your eyes? Cuppa tea, cuppa tea, almost got shagged, cuppa tea?" Spike, in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 6 Episodes 1&2 'Bargaining, parts 1&2'
I've often found it helpful in my creative endeavours to pick a word, sometimes an obscure one, and try to use it by working it into a conversation. It started when I was in my last job as a means of getting over the mechanical, mundane nature of the job and to attempt to inject some intelligence into it.

My word for today is the alchemical term, "metallurgy", which is the study of the behaviour of metal and it's compounds, which are known as alloys.

So, what is your word of the day?
The sound of my laptop fan spinning, my fingers clacking on the keyboard and not much else.
I have another one: Whenever I see people misuse ellipsis (using too many dots, instead of the customary three) or etc (misspelling it 'ect'), I have to correct them. I'm not sure I could say I was a grammar Nazi, but it does annoy me when people misuse those two especially and even more so when I see an ex-classmate doing it. It really does do my head in because we went to the same school, were taught the same way and yet they just don't seem to care.

I also babble quite a bit, especially in writing. Sorry about that.
Lexx. It's completely off it's head and quite obscure, I'd wager.

Are you doing anything scintillating today?
Winter. I like the snuggling opportunities that the cold brings up. Also, it just feels so much better to be cool and happy (well, discounting the rhinitis) than too darned hot and miserable. Summer, literally, does my nut in.

What's better, Pirates or Ninjas?
I just got a pack of ten resistors for free. I'm happy smile so happy I wrote a poem:

Yass, free resistors,
Ten to a pack,
Now I can fix
The faulty controller Jack!

I got them so I could fix my controller Jack board on my Dreamcast. The only downside I can foresee is that I'll have a nosebleed from soldering them in, but I can cope with that. Now I can finally play that game a got for Christmas :)
Baked, with lashings of butter and extra strong Cheddar, or Red Leicester.

For writing with: PC with keyboard and word processing program or pen and paper?
May I suggest a Help Desk bit in the forum for bits that aren't covered in the rest of the forum, like on the L place?
