Once a story has been submitted and verified, is it possible to change the story to which it is linked, without having to resubmit?
Slip inside and have a cuppa tea. And in answer to Red's question (just because I wanna) last night, watching Moulin Rouge! with a friend who hadn't seen it before. We sat crying at the same bits.

What's your favourite way to unwind and destress?

Hi there Moderators,

I have a quick suggestion for some of the "behind the scenes" workers.

But before I do, let me preface it by saying this site ROCKS, as is! It's easy to navigate, full of great options (and great reads of course) and the chat rooms are easy to navigate.

That said, I have noticed that when I click on a link within the chats, it directs me OUT of this site and replaces StoriesSpace with the new URL. Instead, I would advise linking in a manner that creates a new tab/window. (I am no HTML expert, but my tiny experience with web site updating has taught me the value of this trick.) Doing this would mean one is able to get back to the Stories Space site without having to hit the back button and/or re-login.

Hope that makes sense. Thanks!

Sometimes it's your browser settings. Try looking for a setting that says "open links in a new tab" or something of that ilk. You could also right click the link, a menu will come up and you can choose to open it in a new tab and sometimes, if you've got a middle mouse button, that'll open stuff in a new tab, hope this helps. Good suggestion though.
It's not fancy, or that impressive, really, but I'd make a nice steak and sausage casserole with lashings of mashed spuds.

Have you ever been moved to tears by someone's voice? (My answer: yes, at the Lacuna Coil concert. They dedicated a song called "Shallow Life" to all the people that were no longer in this mortal coil and it was as much Cristina Scabbia's voice as it was the dedication.)
Thanks smile I've had quite the day up in the highlands catching my wee Haggis. Tricky wee buggers to catch!
Gotta boost, dinner time! Ooh, now I'm looking forward to tomorrow's dinner: Haggis, neeps and tatties for Burns nicht. Those wee Haggi are a bugger to catch, but I'll manage, I am a big manly Scot, after all. Now, if only I had enough money to buy some nice whisky. Ugh, now I want some whisky!

Hope that the doctor can do something permanent about my sinuses. I'm annoyed at feeling light headed all winter and not being able to enjoy my favourite season because of it.
Mmm, toast. I must get my finger clicking on that link to the Cyber Toaster Museum, later, when I'm back on the mainframe.

I like my toast pretty darned brown, almost black, that is when there's brown bread around... with lashings of butter. When there's white bread, I like it slightly less brown, but still with lashings of butter. Sometimes with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top, as well. Oh and let's not forget the customary serving with hot, strong tea. Or hot chocolate, if I'm feeling rebellious. Sometimes soup, too. Dunking toast in soup is freakin' awesome! Well, maybe not awesome, but pretty darnged good smile
She's a great person to chat with, very talented writer and a font of knowledge. Did I mention that she's really friendly, too?
Tomorrow, I'd like to hear a specific person's voice, but that's not happening, on account of irrational (okay, somewhat rational) fears and truthful realizations on the behalf of both parties. Maybe one day, maybe. I really hope.
I heard the best thing this morning: silence. Then I looked at my phone and saw a text lying there from 8.30-ish and realised just how tired I was last night, having woken at 12.50. Still, I'd take either silence or my text tone any day.
