Definitely the beeping timer.

Hm...

What is your favorite color IF you have to wear the corresponding color all day? i.e: blue->orange all day, yellow->purple all day, and red->green all day. And visa versa.

:P
...would love some more comments on my stuff!

I have a link to one that is not up yet, in my signature, but there are so many already having been front paged and the only one that has more than, say, two or three comments is the one me and magnificent were arguing on.

It's a writer thing, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE grant me with more comments! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Thank youuuu!

(I deleted most of this one because I was being a dumb***. SO Shall try to remember to not comment at all when I'm in a mood. Doesn't turn out well for either person involved. Mostly me.)

I like a lot of different poetry. I think my favourite is silly stuff, like "On The Ning Nang Nong" by Spike Milligan.

Of course, I also really enjoy the darker side of poetry like "Lenore" by Egar Allan Poe. Of course, I can't really say Poe without mentioning "The Raven", can I?

I can't really pick a favourite type of poem, but I like it to be dark, slightly comic and also to tell a good tale.

Poe is one of my favorite authors. I enjoy his "Annabel Lee" and, of course, "The Raven" also. The Romanticism period of time in general was very interesting for poetry.

To answer the forum question as a whole:

I like almost any kind of poetry, I tend to not like the structured ones (go figure, most of mine are not structured), but if it is well written and I can connect to it, then it is a good poem in my book. As for type... Gothic is nice, depending on my mood. I have a soft spot for love poems, too. I write a lot of them that read like a small story, so if I can ever find those out in the published world it's nice too.

Mostly, I like all poetry. Though I have to say I'm particularly fond of Maya Angelou's "Insomnia(c)" and Poe's "Annabel Lee".
Well, gee, I guess it depends on what I'm writing at the time, because I got...

Chuck Palahniuk or whatever, never even heard of him, when I typed in Love You Through It the first time.

The second time, I got Stephen King with my story Zana- Part One, and the same thing the fourth time with Meghan- Hair, a poem:

The third time, I got James Joyce by typing in Frightening Thoughts

I write so differently for each piece, I guess I confuse it.
I wonder what would happen if I put two of those different writings into it. Would I get someone completely different? Or would I really confuse it?

Hm, random thoughts. smile
Well, at least for me... When I have an idea, but it's too small to really make a story out of, I write it into a poem. You'll see that some of my poems are like tiny stories. Poetry is also a lot easier to make... strong, I guess. That's the only way to say it. It's easier to put a lot of emotion into something really small than, say, a novel or novella or even a flash fiction piece, or to portray the importance of something.. For example, I write a lot of awareness pieces, and many are in poem form just because ... prose is more difficult to get the idea across.

However, I do enjoy 6-word stories. Unfortunately, I can't actually submit those anymore. They portrayed any emotion really well. Especially fear. You would not think so few words could, but for some things, the fewer the words the better.

Hope that helps a little biggrin
Because there should have been a "U" one somewhere in there, here:

Untamed Heart.

I recommend it. Not only is the guy EXTREMELY sexy, but... it's a very good movie. Very sad though, be prepared. Guess one could call it a "chick flick".

And that has made all the difference." ~Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken. Not a quote, but still.

yes, and generally television. Sometimes, however, magazines, newspaper or online.

As for the previous question just 'cause I wanna answer, rack of lamb w/ mint. Yum

Beer or wine?

(Personal preference = beer. Wine's gross except in cooking).
