Here's the link to purchase the antho, and it sells for a mere Rs 465...sounds good, anyway...

Cool pictures of my friend Gary Cullen's Tatra T47 in front of the John Steinbeck museum, and John Steinbeck house...apparently John owned one in the 1940's at some point...

It is a pretty cool car...and Gary has some pretty cool cars btw...I believe this on is a '47, if I recall...

And yeah, I've known Gary long before I started writing...he's well known in the Exakta collecting world...this picture is about 15 years old, but he had a bunch of round magnifier Kine Exaktas from '36...the earliest Kine Exaktas had round magnifiers...and they were the first 35 mm SLR btw...

Just want to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there...and hopefully you know who you are...

Quote by Rumple_deWriter

Taken from JOB, chapter 19, verse 23

23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!

I would think that ole Job would be happy enough to be a published author, in a bestselling book...

Heck, let's just say that if my book ever sold as much as The Bible...I would be a very happy camper...
Alright, here's a no-fee short story contest that may be of interest to some of my friends here..."Your challenge: In at least 1,000 but no more than 5,000 words, write a creative, compelling, and well-crafted story that clearly uses the “Decisions, Decisions” premise."...Winners receive $40-$180 and publication...check it out my short story writing type friends...

On The Premises - Current Contest

Big money, no fee contest here my friends...

If so, tell us your story by entering the Ordinary Guru Contest. You can submit a short story, essay, memoir, photo essay, cartoon, graphic novel or poem. First Prize: $5,000. Second Prize: $2,500. Oh damn all my childhood heroes, Dancing Bear, Bunny Rabbit, Captain Kangaroo, Grandfather Clock, Mr. Moose, and Mr. Greenjeans...and this picture is from '61 the year I was born btw...

This might be of interest to some friends here...this is alternative footage of The Band's last concert...if you're familiar with the movie The Last Waltz, which came out when I was in high school back in '78...you might find this of interest...it's in three parts on YouTube btw...

The Band The Last Waltz Complete Concert Part 1 Alternate Footage

This has, and always will be, an issue on sites like this...if you go to "Settings" then "Settings/Privacy" you can set it so that only members can vote on your stories...

I did that myself a while back after a similar experience to yours btw...not much you can really do about it otherwise, I'm afraid...
Not sure if this approach will work for any of my friends here...

Yeah...something just might be missing...

The differences finally clearly explained...

That's how they did it in the old days...

You could probably say that about sites like this as well...

A bit late now perhaps...

Well...maybe not everyone perhaps...

Oh yeah...this should work out just fine...

Alright...the most viewed poem on Stories Space has been accepted for a pretty cool print antho...but, I can't say much at the moment as per this notice...details to follow though...

"Alan, We are happy to inform you that Neon Sign was chosen for the XXXXXXXX Anthology. We ask that you do not share, because we are trying to inform people now. We will pay 2 contributor copies and need your address. Thank you!"

This looks like one of my stories before I hit the "Spell-check" button...just sayin'

Yeah, this is why I don't self publish...all my imaginary friends would be looking for book deals, and next thing you know, it'll get way out of hand...

Funny...but, not particularly encouraging...

Hmmm...perhaps the professor should have been a bit more clear here...

Something tells me her first day on the job is not going well...

Just saw this...reminds me of some writers I know btw...

Funny, I sort of remember those ancient times...

And for my writer friends...

So, how many of these have my writing friends here collected?

Some more lesser known editing symbols my writer friends may want to familiarize themselves with...

Yeah...I'd like to see this one get rejected...just sayin'

Some more lesser known editing symbols my writer friends may want to familiarize themselves with...

Hmmm...if I could get people to pay to watch me write, it might be more lucrative than actual writing...

Yeah, this could indeed be a problem my friends...

I found this amusing, and not sure if I offended anyone yet today...so, this should take care of that as well...
