I love my Elizabeth with all my heart

How strange I muse, that fate should smile on me,
And with a touch, such happiness bestow,
For I have found quite unexpectedly,
A dear companion from whose heart does flow
Such tender love that banishes my fears,
A gift so undeserved, and yet so kind
That brings new joy to my declining years,
And calms with gentle words my restless mind.

Mortification .... because it is hot and the sun is shining again (4 days in a row), and I tell everyone that it is always cloudy in Manchester, and more often than not, raining.
Hi Gav. Is it possible to have some stories that only show to members, if they are signed in? Thanks for looking.
Heat...the English summer has arrived and, in the same way that no-one here can cope with snow in winter, the country has ground to a halt, with roads melting, rail tracks buckling and my wretched office fire alarm going off every ten minutes, triggered by the thunder flies! Who knew?
Wistful for what might-have-been, grateful for what I've got 🤔
YES, of course. I love our talks. Don't let her fool you, I've learned much, much more from this woman than I will ever be able to teach her.
