Why do I damn well bother?

What is the point of putting so much effort into a project for it to be almost totally ignored?

Sod it. I'm done.

Fortunately, it isn't just Brian who gets it wrong... is it Andy?
(Go back a few posts to see who else screwed it up.)

"People who live in glass houses...
Should pull the blinds before removed their trousies."
(Spike Milligan)

ONE mistake?? How many times has he been told? How many times has he screwed up?

He's even done it YET AGAIN (look again) so yes, this person who lives in a glass house has EVERY right to complain!!!

This was a thread I used to enjoy. Thanks Brian, another one I won't be bothering with again.
Unfortunately Brian insists on posting in this thread and screwing it up!!!

How bloody difficult is it to follow 'fortunately/unfortunately/fortunately'???

God give me strength...
I went to bed around ten....I woke up around 1:46am. Not only did I wake up early but I feel sick to my stomach from the dream I had. Not something I dream everyday....or even so often but still it is very sickening. I do hope I can get back to sleep. I need it for later today.... I really do

But until then I shall read, vote, and comment on stories to get my mind off it.... Hope it works
Granted - but it is left-overs from the previous week's meals...

I wish it was lighter in the mornings...
Posting in verse is not de rigueur
(It just happened that way: go figure.)
Not that it matters, anyway
Because what I have now to say
Is that this has gone on far too long
And it would be entirely wrong
For me to leave you with the wrong idea
Of what is going to happen here:
When all is settled and said and done
You will all find out that it is I who has won!
I have posted the first part of my most ambitious project to date: a very long saga - Going Away - that is, as yet, unfinished. At the moment it runs to 22,000+ words! I really hope that you guys will get behind it and read it...

Ah, excuse me, but did I not make a post BEFORE Anna's?

Maybe I imagined it...
You did. Don't be sad, it happens to everyone...

Raged - Drags

It's rude and ill-mannered, whoever it is doing it...

Drags - Sugar
Is a founder-member of the International Krankies Fan Club and Appreciation Society (apologies to non-Brits...)

Fortunately, the authorities (NOT Andy) have their own range of lingerie for men...
Oh dear oh dear, look what's been done
To this thread once so much fun
Poets, lyricists and punsters
Have presented themselves as funsters
All claiming to have a personal say
In the precise manner and way
In which victory will be achieved
If their previous postings are to be believed
The fact of the matter is thus:
It is long past the time to end this fuss
And acknowledge me as the winner here
Is that universal agreement I hear?
Unfortunately the photographic evidence is in the hands of the authorities...

Mine is all written up!

I can't wait to read what you've written...
Beedlethrap: an ancient position within the Church hierarchy, which is now honorary and titular only. Previously the post involved acting as mediator in disputes between members of the clergy in the same parish or diocese and carried great weight and responsibility.

"The Beedlethrap made his decision, which was final and binding on both parties"

Well that's a sight that's rarely seen

Oh, hold on, my mind's a mess
It's only Anna playing in Fancy Dress!
Put down that sword before you hurt yourself
Or do something that's not good for your health.
Like staking claims that are so untrue:
I have come to expect better of you.
Surely it must be clear after all this time
That I am the rightful heir to the 'End of the Line'?
Ah, excuse me, but did I not make a post BEFORE Anna's?

Maybe I imagined it...

I feel really sad, over fictional characters in my own stories, and future plots that might happen. Perhaps I should take a step back?

Consciously or unconsciously, our fictional characters often reflect ourselves: our memories and experiences. Perhaps what you are reflecting is some turmoil or upset you are going through right now? Understanding where the feelings are coming from is the key to successfully dealing with them.
