meaty --- tardy

Are we dropping two letters now? Lol Hi Ginger!

tardy - ready
A fabulous three-disc compilation set called 'The Great American Songbook'.

It has all those classic tracks from the forties and fifties (and earlier!) sung by the cream of the talent of the time: Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Ella Fitzgerald, Eddie Fisher, Billie Holiday, Doris Day, Sarah Vaughn, Mel Torme, Johnny Mathis, Fred Astaire, Shirley Bassey, Ray Charles to name just a few.

Most of this stuff was old before I was born... but you cannot keep a good tune down! I recommend you check it out.

I just love love love how people can come up to me and say:

I love you're outfits, But I wouldn't ever wear them.
I want your wardrobe, take me shopping some day when I have money.
You're so tiny! Do you eat?
I wish I could be your size.
I would never want to be as small as you, how would I get a boyfriend?
At least you don't get back problems due to big boobs.
You're so light, even (insert name of weak person) can carry you.
You should grow your hair out!
You look better with short hair.
Why don't you wear makeup?
Why do you need corsets, you're small enough!

And then they finally see past my looks:

Why are you so violent?
You should date so and so.
Why are you so mean to him, he likes you!
Why don't you like him, he likes you!
I don't see why you're so gloomy.
You know I didn't think I would like you at first!
I didn't know you were so smart!
You're the smartest Blonde I ever met.

Things people just say to me:

You're overly happy about things (I asked a bully why bully me)
If you hadn't ask me, I wouldn't have been your friend in the first place. (last thing my exbestie said before ignoring me for 3years)
You're a user, and you're using all your friends and I will tell them as much. (Told the guy I didn't like him.)

The lists goes on and on and on. I never change for anyone, I do as I please and IF YOU CANNOT HANDLE ME, don't bitch about it and then turn around and say you don't judge people. Everyone judges everybody as soon as you encounter them. If you say you don't judge people, you're just lying to yourself darling, because from the two lists above were spoken by people who claim to accept everyone as they are.

You are an amazing, wonderful, fun, feisty, frustrating and fantastic person to know. I adore that you are so perfectly individual and unique. I may not always agree with you - may not even always like you - but I will always respect you for sticking to your principles under extreme duress at times. THAT alone rises you above the petty and mundane in my estimation. There are many who could learn a thing or two from you, me included. Please, don't ever change who you are. I love the Rebs I am proud to consider a friend.

To take a quick look at this thread
Imagine my surprise
When right before my eyes
Was a thread that was all-but dead!

That can't be permitted to happen I vowed
This thread's death will not be allowed!
So, here is my contribution
To this thread's restitution
Now I feel happy and proud!
