It depends on the quality of work really, how much though, emotion and detail that goes into it. On that note, I truly do have a preference for poetry though, only because it gives the writer a shorter time base to make their emotion or motive clear, when it isn't always so clear when in a longer piece of writing. But like I said, it depends really.
