You know, that would make a very interesting short story - especially with your knowledge of Festivals, - or a poem.
I don't know where/when I would go, i.e. what band/musician is most important to me,
but I think I'd like to go back to the 1920's and see Bix Biederbecke in his early (relatively sober) years,
(of course, the 1920's is the decade I would most like to have lived in - even if it was to be followed by the Dirty 30's):
