a GREAT friend who Always has a good word for all!!!! Huggles my Friend
I have always felt uncomfortable promating my work. I have this archaic feeling that I should leave the judging to others. Alas that is not how the world works. One can be Nicoli Tesla or Thomas Edison but the world will not reward you for false nobility.

My favorite is Edgar Allan Poe.

Seconded. Poe's use of the English language was matched only by the Bard himself.
At the moment for me it would have to be Cormac McCarthy. The Road and Old country where great books. But i love his older novels, and more so than anything i love his discription for the landscape which he surrounds himself and characters with. Reading the Boarder Trilogy at the moment and wow.
Also abit of an obvious one, Stephen King i mean, how can you not love his works, old and new.
Star Trek, the reboot

I love robbing the English. They're so polite!
I write poetry because the verse demands it. I used to ignore it and allow it to fade away but then realised to late that there is so much of myself slipping away with it. Poetry is my way of letting the pain and joy mingle in my life and through it I find balance.
