Cow's milk. No contest there!

City life or country life?
The aim of this game is to create a new word by changing one letter without rearranging the order of the remaining letters.

I'm sure everyone already knows this game. You provide two options for the person below you, they choose their favourite and suggest two new options for the next person.

Paperback book or e-book?
Thanks, Alan. I love that idea. I always wanted to write children's books. Articles sound a bit easier, especially when they only want around 500 words.

I don't know how you're finding so many of these calls for submissions, but you're doing a great job.
Cranberry, raspberry and apple tea.

And I'd love a self re-filling mug!
Good luck with your submission, Alan. I hope you'll keep us posted on whether your poem's accepted.

I suppose publishers who cater to older folk have to make allowances for forgetfulness.

...who came up with the idea of fruitless hot cross buns? The chocolate chip ones I can go along with but the empty ones are just pointless.

I always thought "hot cross buns" were a mythical pastry that someone made up for the sole purpose of forcing me to learn to play a song about them on the piano.

That brings back memories now you mention it. I used to play that song on my recorder at school. I could probably still do it now and I haven't played it in...a very long time!
I like that one, Alan.

On another note, who came up with the idea of fruitless hot cross buns? The chocolate chip ones I can go along with but the empty ones are just pointless.

Thanks, Alan!

I LOVE Dr Seuss! I read his books to my sons all the time. They're great fun.

My favourite is:

My favourite quote is from the same book: “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
Hi, lovely_lady. Welcome to StoriesSpace. It's good to see you here.

Often I catch myself moving things just the tiniest bit so they line up square, like a coaster on a coffee table or a picture hung on the wall.
