Do shoes count as collectibles or am I a hoarder?

Shoes are a necessity. Just to be safe always get more when you can.

I have a large collection of music boxes and unicorn figurines. I have a few unicorn music boxes too.

I was very sad to learn, this week that my, and almost everyone else's favourite teacher, Mr Kelly, has passed away.
Since I am almost... erm… old... I guess he must have been somewhere around eighty by now.
I am aware that Mr. Kelly means absolutely nothing to any of you but if I tell you that I was in the same classes as Nick Park...
Who? I hear you say.
Well, Nick Park, for those who don't know, is the creator of Wallace and Grommit and the character of Wallace was inspired by none other than... Mr. Kelly.

What an awesome memory to carry Anna. How wonderful for Mr Kelly to never be forgotten.

My fav teacher was Sally Ann Evans, my French teacher. I have written a story about her. She was really tall (1930 which is around 6ft 4in) so always wore flatties. She was inspirational and a super athlete.
01:27am Wednesday morning ... just got in. Paris Fashion Week officially over for me so end of season and end of a long but awesomely awesome year. I'm on holiday now!!!!!

Well at least for three weeks.. back home next month.

Give a new writer a chance. Go ahead and read one of their intitial offerings. Let them know that there are some real people here on our site. Not all of them will bother to check you out in return, but at least you've given them the kind of welcome they were looking for when they settled in here as a member.

Give others the votes you want and maybe, just maybe, you'll get some on your own work.

Is there a way of finding a new writer?

One way is to simply check here in the forum every day and the latest member will be listed near the bottom of the first page. I also make it a habit to look at the profiles of people I don't recognize and there you will see the date they joined the site in their bio/stats area.

The featured members at the top of the home page will show people I am not familiar with and I check their profilles.

I also check the people listed as having a birthday here on the forum. I notice the fact that a lot of them are dormant.

That doesn't really take any great deal of time. A few minutes each morning.

Found one.. read .. commented. biggrin
