Yes and no, AABBA is correct, the meter isn't spot on. If you go back a but in this thread, You'll find somethin I wrote about the rules for limericks.
But with a little effort, and forgive me for stealing your words:

There is no simple answer to that. In the first place it would depend on how important that life is to me. For the ones I love, I'd give my own life, if I were sure it would save theirs, for others I would certainly risk it, but I would not simply sacrifice it.

Oh yes, I would love to go there too. If I ever become a rich man, I might just take you up on that. I'd bring along a crowd though, I could't leave all my kids out of such an experience, and there's someone else, who I hope will want to tag along.
