Tonight I am planning a special dinner for my wife.
A tossed salad with fresh lettuce, baby tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers and sprinkled with cheddar cheese (yes really).
Then baked salmon, hot potato with chives and melted butter, and fresh green beans with a bit of lemon zest and garlic (a specialty of mine).
I am finishing it off with a German Chocolate cake I am secretly baking at my daughter's house.
I hope she loves it.
