I like many bands and musicians but currently I absolutely love Nightwish and wish I had discovered them years ago.
Their music is a blend of loud heavy music and classical type music with influences from other genres such as folk.
In short, my favourite kind. Loud... very loud but melodic.

My most cherished memory, since a question wasn't asked, is going down an escalator. My heart was in my mouth, I was shaking and traumatised from customs being such arseholes, but then the happy started. I saw her - the love of my life, Aria. I dropped my bags, not caring about anything other than hugging Aria. I held her close and cried. I took her in. That was the best day ever, and is a rather bittersweet memory.

Preferably something affordable to be honest.
