Was on my way home, when some scruffy, drunken, random dude comes along and asks me for a cigarette. I gave him a cigarette and we got chatting. I then find out he was out drinking last night, hence the smell of alcohol. The poor dude had left his wallet in the pub and had no money to get back to the pub. He asked me for a little money for a cup of coffee because it was so bitterly cold. I didn't have enough on me, but I gave him my last pound, so he could get a train to the pub to collect his wallet.
