Hm. Have a fondness for both and haven't seen either live in eons. Opera.

Play a sport or watch that sport?

The old bookshop owner had something special for Dave.

Play, if it is winter, especially. More fun participating.

Running or swimming?

Running. Me and swimming had a falling out many years ago.

King of the world or modest life in obscurity?

Modest life in obscurity. The best things in life are those shared with others, but especially family.

Cruise ship or resort?

We've been doing a lot of cruise ships but I kind prefer a resort. Can just crash somewhere and write.

Zombies or vampires?

Experiencing or writing? Not much of a choice if experiencing, but Vampires are not as difficult to eradicate. Zombies, you're simply waiting for your turn.

Satanic horror or Sci-Fi horror?

S-F horror does more for me. Lovecraft's "The Colour Out of Space" is one of my favourite horror stories and also one of the seminal works of s-f horror (alien lifeforce that arrives on a meteor wipes out an isolated farm family).

Canoe or kayak for paddling?

Snowmobile. Winter girl at heart. Love the snow.

National Park or State Park?

I actually think that I have been to more National than State Parks in my journeys around the US. However, provincial parks up here can be quite nice, so I imagine your state parks can be, too. Still, most of the famous ones are national parks so that.

Hike or mountain bike a trail?

Some state parks are on par with national parks; Custer State Park, South Dakota is a perfect example. On parks with Yellowstone IMHO.

Hike. Like long-distance (100+ miles), multi-day (5+) with overnight camping are the best. Takes planning but worth the effort.
