GPS. Used to be paper maps but then technology advanced.

Keeping busy/always doing something or taking it easy/going with the flow?

Low key, taking everything one day at a time.

Hiking - Easy, level trail through woods or harder, steeper trail in mountains?

Both. I think it depends on my state of mind. If I desire a peaceful, thoughtful journey, I would take the easy trail. If I have adrenaline pumping and seek adventure, the steeper trail.

Walk in the rain or snow?

Not fond of either, but probably snow. I can handle trudging through the white stuff but I hate being wet (other than by choice, like a shower or bath).

Skis or snowshoes?

Neither. Never tried snowshoeing so I don't know about those and I detest skiing. I much prefer snowboarding. If I had to choose one over the other, it would probably be skis.

Snowboarding or skiing?

Skiing

Water skiing or surfing?

Water skiing might be better. At least I have the crew of the boat to rescue me when I inevitably bomb out and panic.

Give a speech solo or be part of a panel?

Probably solo. I might have some anxiety being solo but I work better that way. I can always overcome any possible anxiety.

Memorize and deliver a soliloquy from Shakespeare that's 29 lines or deliver a 7 page speech on poverty and morality?

Speech. I don't really have the memory capacity anymore (I speak from talking points so pages are kind of irrelevant).

Race the clock or race other people?

I suppose race the clock, although racing time or people isn't really a concern of mine.

Doing yourself: Photography or illustrations?

Prefer photography.

AI generated photos or real photos from a camera?

Real, for sure. AI could be a nice tool for editing photos but I would rather have a real photo to start with.

Work from home or head to the office?

Work from home. Washington, DC traffic is surpassed only by that of LA. 20 mile commute 45-60 minutes each way in rush hour; assuming no accidents.

Bicycle or drive to work?

Drive these days because cycling to my office would be long and dangerous in spots. But I have biked in the past when my office was more accessible.

The weather is getting colder, do you pile on blankets or switch to a comforter/duvet?

Comforter/Duvet. When we visited Switzerland, we slept between comforters which were the best sleep we ever experienced - despite having the windows open to the cold air. Amazing.

Swim in the ocean or swim in an inland lake.
