The wonderful Netherlands-based Mexican singer Marcela Bovio with a favorite of mine and, apparently, also a favorite of hers.

I am listening to the 2022 New Years' Day concert from The Vienna Philharmonic. Unfortunately, I was unable to watch it on the day, so I am very pleased to have found it on YouTube. I really hope to be able to see it again live next year. It is one of the few things I really look forward to on TV.

I knew that name sounded familiar. I think I listened to this one when I was going through some other Nightwish covers I found online.

You know the old joke about when you have a hammer, everything is a nail? Well, when you're a top notch power metal guitarist-singer, every song becomes power metal. Here is Tommy Johansson's (Sabaton, Majestica) cover of "Anti-Hero", Taylor Swift's recent single. I quite enjoy his channel. His takes on some of the songs he covers are interesting.

With 2022 being the year we, sadly, lost Vangelis, I've been doing a listen through of the three albums he did with Jon Anderson of Yes under the name Jon & Vangelis. I think I owned all three on vinyl and/or cassette at one point. Some incredible music. This is from Short Stories (1980).
