Being able to cuddle up to a blank and watch movies all day

There were four fishes in a bowl, two of them drowned. How many are left?
Oh crap, it is this poem game we are playing.
Not strip chess that I recall.
But anyways if I was paying,
To just stand then fall.
I guess it'll be a waste of money.

I will listen and try
Maybe it'll even rhyme
But who knows
My rhyming blows
So I sit here and sigh ....haha

I have been on here quite a while
and have seen almost every style
and I have to say
that yours is okay
it never fails to make me smile

There are other people posting on this thread...

I was wondering if you'd noticed...
No more useless strife
Because you are just doing a curse
It is like messing with life.
But first,
Where is my lucky shirt?
You fluttered like a bird
Perched up high
Scared to soar
Terrified to die

Shaking in fear
You're mind made up
You will go elsewhere
Tired of this dump

With great courage now
You took your leap
Not sure how
You sounded your victory tweet

Higher and higher you fly
Embracing your life
No more fear of dying
No more useless strife
Gardyloo... A warning shouted before throwing water from above.

Because it's a funny word ...imo

~*~ did I do it right??

Yes and no, AABBA is correct, the meter isn't spot on. If you go back a but in this thread, You'll find somethin I wrote about the rules for limericks.
But with a little effort, and forgive me for stealing your words:

When you finally do find your place
Show some real class and also some grace
Never tell any lies
And don't overly sigh
And remember to wash your sweet face

Thank you! I kinda see haha I will practice more but I am finding doing limericks fun(:
If you don't mind some spicy language, there's a song on youtube that might help find the right meter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ei68YJe-nA0&feature=youtube_gdata_player[/quote]

Life lives, Life dies
Life laughs, Life cries
Life gives up, Life tries
But life looks different
Through everyone eyes.
And soon you be dead.
Because you life is like a thread.
So thin and weak.
Because you are just the freak.
When you say lets us die.
You are carrying that piece of pie.
With the final words.
You fluttered like a bird.
I once sat by a bear
He indeed was bigger
Though he had no hair
I invited him to dinner

He ate all my pies
He broke my dishes
But when I began to cry
He took me out fishin

Now he's my friend
My hairless big bear
He help me get thin
Since my cupboards are bare
Birdie, birdie in the sky
Why'd you drop that in my eye
I won't sigh, I won't cry
I'm only glad that cows don't fly

Tender love that's fair
Creeping somewhere to be near
Distance fate of all

first time trying
Lying, listening
To small rustles all around
Waiting to be found

One beating heart
The living drum we carry
That squirts out blood
Someone on my wavelength who 'gets' my writing (most of the time, anyway!). Someone for whom I have a great deal of time. A man I like a great deal, which is not something I say very often.
This doesn't quite follow the AABBA rule, and some of the words are in Swahili, but it's still fun...

There was a young lady from Kikuyu
Whose stomach looked like a kibuyu
when asked
who did this to you
she said
huyo ama huyo ama huyo.

Translated, that means...

There was a young lady from Kikuyu (Kikuyu is a place and is also a tribe... pronounced Kic- kooo- you)
Whose stomach looked like a Kibuyu (Kibuyu means calabash... pronounced Ki- booo-you)
when asked
who did this to you
she said
huyo ama huyo ama huyo (huyo means he/him ... pronounced who-you, ama means either/or... so... him or him or him)
