You know things are bad when Rudolph engineers a takeover of Santa's workshop and fires Santa

Unfortunately (for the poor dragon), the ape hopped the first boat back to Africa to get away from the dragons.

See, they didn't read that book either.

They did, but they just giggled and then tore it up to line their nest.😀

Welp, I survived my all-day meeting. Glad these don't happen too often (twice a year or so). As usual, my back and neck started to hate the chairs provided (we were using a room at a golf club) so I cut a bit early (the final session was just "team building") since I live near that golf club. One of my staff was remote so when I had her go on camera to introduce her, we got a visit from her doggie, too. 😊

A bit grey and shower-y but that's supposed to end and clear up. There's some work to be done outdoors so might get to that this afternoon after the weather settles and things warm up.

Coffee is brewing and there's Keemun and Red Rose in the tea pots. Hot water is on for the other hot drinks. Cold drink stash is checked and fresh pitcher of iced tea is in the fridge.

It's Saturday, folks! And Talia will be back soon (that's for Jeff's kitties)!

Fortunately, the ape found another dragon dentist living up the street

pours a glass of tea and adding sugar to it

Given the 420 conversation, we can be glad she only added sugar to it. 🤣

A white chocolate chip cookie might go well with my breakfast tea, eh.

Coffee is a-brewing, tea is a-steeping. We have some Duke of Earl and English Breakfast in the pots today. Fresh iced tea is made and the soft drinks supply has been checked and replenished where needed. Kettle is ready, though I find the hot chocolate and marshmallows seem to be lasting longer these days.

Have a good one!!

Whiskey is secret to longevity. (so someone on my other board just told me)

A coffee and a 4/20 cookie please.

Not sure Sara makes that kind of cookie. And I thought it was usually 4/20 brownies. 😊

Good day. The snow of the past couple days reminded me that it has been a very long time since my poor CR-V had new wiper blades so I dropped down to Crappy Tire (that's what we call Canadian Tire behind their backs) to pick up fresh ones. Also got lamb shawarma for lunch.

Coffee is brewed and I've got some Assam tea (premium Indian tea) and Red Rose in the teapots. Other beverages, both hot and cold, available as needed. I made some iced tea and put it in the fridge. It's unsweetened but you can add sugar, lemon, etc. from the coffee/tea bar.

You know things are bad when the Easter Bunny picks up the forgotten presents and takes over Christmas

Unfortunately, the ape got stepped on by a dragon in the melee for the yummies!

Ho, ho, ho, and a bottle of rum

Pirate Santa!! 🤣

scarfs several cookies

I think the snow may be over but it was a surprising amount of accumulation for this time of year. Hope this is not a sign of things to come as global warming messes with our climate.

Laughter is the best medicine. (Yes, that was a feature in Reader's Digest. Not sure if it still is.)

You know things are bad when you have to drive in a snowstorm the week AFTER you got your winter tires off.

Grumble. Still snowing this morning. Hopefully it's getting it out of its system. This is getting pretty late in the season even for us.

Coffee is on, tea is Russian Caravan and Earl Grey, hot water is ready for other teas and hot beverages. The fridge is stocked, but not sure cold drinks are the order of the day, at least for us Northerners.

Later...
