It's Saturday. How's life? Bit grey here with showers later. So still Spring-like, but not the sunny, cheery variety of Spring.

There's some Lavazza in the coffee pot, some Black Currant and Red Rose in the teapots. Hot water is ready for other teas and hot chocolate.

Some nice Dark Roast Coffee from Las Chicas Del Cafe (local roastery started by Nicaraguan immigrant sisters, one of whom I used to work with) is on, tea is Scottish Breakfast and Red Rose, hot water is ready for your other hot beverages.

Hope everyone survived the storm of green yesterday. So far as I have heard, we haven't had any incidents here this year. This city has become notorious for student St. Paddy's Day parties getting out of hand so a quiet St. Patrick's Day is a nice change.

In honour of the day, the tea is Irish Breakfast. Coffee is a Jamaican Blue Mountain. Hot water is ready for other beverages like hot chocolate and other fine teas.

After the warm day here yesterday, and another expected today, I have a pitcher of iced tea in the fridge along with 2-4s of cola, lemon-lime, and ginger ale.

Welp, I had my first really good walk or the year. Last few have been hampered by a blister on my heel. Wore different shoes today that didn't reach high enough to bother it. And the weather is gorgeous.

Alas, in the office tomorrow so not sure if I get another one in.

Unfortunately, something from "the other side" came to this side.

So do I go with Moat or Goat since both used Anna's "Boat"? Moat was first, I guess.

One member of my team at work went through that. He has three kids in school plus his wife is a hospital nurse. One kid got sick to start and eventually everyone was either sick or at least testing positive. Two other members of my team had it as well, one twice (first was more severe so we're thinking Delta the first time, Omicron the second).

Doing some news writing could be interesting. Hope it goes well for you. I'm not much into writing non-fiction. Then again, too much of today's news reads like bad fiction so who knows.

Guess I have to decide soon whether to ditch Prime and go back to NF. I would like to see season 2 of Russian Doll. Loved season 1. OTOH, no date announced yet for The Sandman (based on the Neil Gaiman comic series with Gaiman as a producer and doing some writing) which is the real reason I will go back.

Look on the bright side. Up here, your funding would be pretty much guaranteed under our public healthcare system as long as you had a doctor's referral, but you'd probably wait weeks or even months. Especially right now when the hospitals are still recovering from COVID cancellations and postponements.

Good morning!!! Coffee is brewing and there's Keemun and Irish Breakfast in the teapots will plenty of hot water and a selection of other fine teas for those looking for something different. And there's hot chocolate and marshmallows for that crowd.

Spring-y weather here today once the fog burns off. Starting to think we'll need to start getting pitchers of iced tea and maybe some pop in the fridge soon. Cold beverages will be the order of the day before we know it.
