Good morning all! Nicer day here. Cool but the rain and wind have passed. Thanks for the nice Fall photos Fuzzy and Anna. My area has just started changing. A spell of warm fall weather and a late first frost delayed things (again, this makes two years in a row).
Hope all goes well with Victor. There's doggie treats waiting if he's okay.

I am currently waiting to see if a job offer is accepted. This will bring my team to 5, including myself. Twenty years ago, when I started the job, not only was I a one-man shop but I was also the company's first dedicated IT person. Prior to that, they were being supported by corporate IT (which itself consisted of only one or two people, and is now up to 10 or 12).
So Larry is done painting, but Gill is still working on it. You two need to coordinate things better.

Specialist appointment this morning (nothing serious, at least not yet). Less than an hour to checkin, wait, and see the specialist, hour+ wait to get the bloodwork he ordered done. This was in a hospital lab. Usually I use a private one that takes appointments but I was seeing him in the hospital so had to have it done there.
Oo, cookies. I'll have pumpkin pie with my morning tea.
No turkeys here. We're making jambalaya (our version of it, at least) for dinner tonight. Still thankful, though.
Been watching an odd little series on Youtube. It's made by Russian channel called ASM and it's basically an animated monster movie. Starts off as almost a parody, but later develops into a fairly good, if weird, kaiju (Japanese monsters like Godzilla) movie. It's called Godzilla vs. King Kong but really has no relationship to the classic Godzilla movie of that title or the upcoming American one other than having both Godzilla (multiple versions thereof) and King Kong.

Thanksgiving weekend up here in the Great White North. Nothing much happening in my family. Just a quiet long weekend. Should be raking leaves but, for the second year running, will probably be cutting the grass instead. Leaves are just starting to fall here. Haven't even had a frost yet so our annuals (begonias and marigolds) are still blooming. Global warming or just a local trend? Hard to say until we see if Fall stays like this going forward.
I wish I lived on a mountain, windy or no. I love being in the mountains.

Nice here, too. Fall-ish, to be sure, but sunny and not too cool. I've been moving at a pretty good pace so far but I know what you're saying, Sara. Sometimes it (energy, motivation, whatever) just ain't there. Afternoon so green tea time.
You must be out West. Hasn't got that bad in Ontario yet, though it's edging closer. Only 7 when I left for work today (8am).

I actually had an idea for a challenge/prompt (not a spooky one) last week and its slipped off into the dark, dank recesses of my mind now. I'm sure it will come back to me like a bad chili.
I can't really take credit for the coffee. That's Larry's thing. I avoid the stuff like the plague. Now, Scottish breakfast tea, I know a thing or two about *takes sip*
My tea shipment has arrived. A couple breakfast teas, a couple greens, a "Duke of Earl" (Earl Grey with a shot of vanilla). Kettle's on!
Definitely Fall here. Single digits when I got up this morning. With Canadian Thanksgiving looming (next Monday), it's about time.
