Regarding Copyrights:
I've been advised that in our Terms and Conditions (located at the bottom of the page), there is a blanket copyright that covers all stories on the site.
10.2 All stories on this site are deemed the property and exclusive copyright of their authors. The submitter of the story is believed to be the original author. (On a side note, I am aware of what it says on the Terms and Condition, it will be removed shortly.)
I know that some members wish to see their own copyright so for now, if you'd like to put your own at the bottom of your story, we will continue to ignore those words on the word count.

Is anyone else finding logging on being flaky again? I am mostly noticing it on PC where "Remember Me" seems to have stopped working again. And I just had to sign in to post this even though my avatar was visible at the top as if I were logged in.
I just became active on the other place again using the same browsers. Could that be a factor?
I'm fairly certain it's not connected with the other one since I am always switching between the two.
How often has this happened? I think with each update done to the site most of us have had to log in again, even with the Remember Me clicked. There have been a few behind-the-scenes updates done recently.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but on the old site, I could break off composing mail to check out a subject. When I returned there would be a notice telling me I had unfinished mail. Now leave the page--and anything on-going disappears.
I just wanted to update you that there is a mailbox update scheduled.
Just moving this down again.

Two of us in the writer's group independently thought of the need for a copyright statement feature like we had on the old software. We can start adding them in the Author's Note but being able to just check a box to auto-add it would be easier than going back and manually updating old stories.
This is something that has been discussed and I can check to see where we are at in terms of adding that again. As of now, if you do decide to add your own, we ask that you put it at the bottom below your story and not in the Author's Note.

I don't believe that has been mentioned before, but I will definitely bring it up.

I just joined a group I was invited to on here, but it says I need to upgrade to view the posts. This happen to the others in the group, too? I don't want to send a report if it's already a known issue.
I don't think it's been an issue on this site yet. Could you please raise a ticket for this?
Hello everyone. We saw that there was an interest in a writer's group so we've asked the techs if we could have Groups added to StoriesSpace.
Well, it has just been launched!
Please remember, all StoriesSpace rules still apply and they can be found here: https://www.storiesspace.com/legal/acceptable-use-policy
Please be respectful to each other and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Edit to add: Please know that all groups will need to go through an approval process before you are able to use it. We will review them as quickly as possible.
Looks like I can start that list now.

Happy New Year!
The last few years have been filled with plenty of ups and downs. This time of year is typically one for reflection. Reflection of what went wrong or what went right. Things we wish we could have accomplished or said. Perhaps even things we wish we wouldn’t have done or said. Our whole life is riddled with those moments and that leads me to our new competition theme…
A New Years Do-Over
Here is your prompt:
You are alone at a New Year’s Eve party trying to decide if anyone would notice you leave early when you are approached by a mysterious stranger. They offer you a chance to change one regret; just one wish at a do-over. What would they have to say to convince you to accept it? What would happen to your life if you did? Would it end up another regret or would it be a wish come true?
To add a bit of fun, your story must contain the following words: Reboot, Fireworks, Midnight, Awakening, and Green.
All categories are open except for Flash Fiction, Micro Fiction, Plays, Poetry, and Songs. That means the word count minimum is 1001 and the max is 5000.
Quick Facts:
The Word count minimum is 1001 and the max is 5000.

Considering Peaky Blinders. It keeps popping up on my radar. I know nothing about it other than it’s a period piece that that Bane/Venom dude is in it and he’s violent. Probably worth a look.
I really liked Peaky Blinders. Cillian Murphy (The Scarecrow) is such a wonderfully flawed character that you want to stick with him. I admit I didn't watch the last two seasons, but it is on my list of things to catch up on. It wasn't the fault of the show, it was my life getting in the way. Also, anything with Tom Hardy is worth checking out.
I am currently watching The Witcher Season 2 and Hawkeye. Everything else has been Holiday Baking shows or Christmas movies with my mother.

Fleabag is frikkin brilliant. Very funny, occasionally biting.
I keep trying to get Talia to watch Succession. She is luke-warm on watching it. I will give up and try it on my own soon.
I'll give Fleabag a shot. I've been on the fence about Succession too so let me know what you think.

Squid Game.
I cried twice. I watched it because people kept telling me to so I didn't expect to get emotionally involved.
I finished season 3 of Lost In Space last night. I really like this series. There are a few people that annoy me to death, but there are enough positives that I can deal with the nonsense.
Has anyone seen Fleabag? I was thinking of watching it.
