Once upon a clear dark night an elderly man with a wicked cat who ate all of his freshly caught shrimp in a most peculiar, yet satisfyingly white china bowl.

There were sounds outside his window as the wind turbine that spins came crashing down, scattering the crows. The sounds of wings, furious and flapping, came through the darkness.

And with that become clear that the old man's home was not a good place, not like before. He chose to ignore it for he already knew the reason: It was time warped. So, instead he joined the circus. There, he became an amazing acrobat who created an entertaining show for the elderly folk who ate watermelons and spit seeds into the offending crowd of onlookers.

Covered in seeds, the acrobat then promptly took his large knives and sliced a huge potato in dodecahedrons — took great care with each 12-sided shape before throwing his knives back to the sous-chef, who swore in six different languages whilst standing on a rotating toadstool, for this was ga ga land.

The knives landed one by one and pierced a cocoon, narrowly missing the butterfly's toenails, which caused its cocoon to pop. Wingless and flightless, the poor butterfly soon became prey to a large timid, lovelorn bat that befriended the...

Great job!!!
A good friend and I had a conversation one day. A few days later, I woke up with a little poem in my head about our friendship. I wrote it up and sent it to her. She really loved it and I got to thinking about our conversation. She always insists she cant write, so I took her words from our original conversation and wrote this poem. It is what I imagine her reply would be to my poem if she wrote. The words are mostly hers, either almost exactly as she said them or paraphrased into poetry.

This Unlikely Pair

I sit here and look at your gift to me,
And I wonder just how we came to be.
Whenever I need you, you always are there
But feel when you need me, you have to ask where?

What plan did God have to make two a we?
So different, yet somehow, God truly blessed me.
You have been there for me when I needed to share.
Just how did this happen to such an odd pair?

Not sitting in judgment, but when I let go
You’re still my friend; I’ll just never know.
You comfort, advise me, open my mind with a dare
To think and to grow, our gift is so rare

Two people who could have just walked away,
Two ships in the night, then God had his say.
He put us together, made both of us care
Just drawn to each other, this unlikely pair!
myhappy place is sitting on a beach, listening to the waves roll in and watcing a beautiful sunset or sunrise.
I have many very good memories of camping with my SO. Learning to put up a tent, find good firewood, build a fire, even when everything was damp. On on of our first trips, the tent we had borrowed leaked, and we woke up to very wet sleeping bags and clothes. it was still raining hard, but the campground had a laundry room. We took our wet items and put them all in the dryers. we also took a can of sterno, a small pot and a number of cans of food. We used 3 of the cans as a support for the pot and heated up some soup, then some chili while our stuff dried.
Stop that E. LOL Texted Happy Birthday wishes to a friend.
