I think you've chased him away. Good, that gives me a chance to quietly sit here for a while.
Nope, life may be a road, but never a railroad. A railroad implies, that we have no choice but follow the rails to a predetermined destination. I believe on the road that our life is, we encounter many junctions, where we ourselves have the freedom to decide, in which direction we continue our journey.
If there was one decision you have taken in you life, that you could reverse, which decision would that be?
My kids, shouting "Daddy, wake up, it's snowing"
And will you finally finish that beer?
There once was a gall in Dundee
Who was totally gorgeous to see

Mind if I join the crowd?
Do I have enough wallpaper?
Just watching all of you skipping around is enough to make me tired. Gonna sit here for a while.
hey, sailorman, they're taking your ship (and I'll take this spot).
Lawn chair?, What lawn chair? That's my recliner, give it back!
At the moment, I'm trying to make friends without Facebook, so I go out on the street every day and shout, what I've cooked, what I've eaten, how I feel, what I'm doing and where I am. And I grab hold of everyone I meet and yell: "I like you!".
By now, I've got 6 followers: 2 cops, a doctor, 2 nurses and a psychiater.
Blessed be the bald, for they can't get into eachother's hair
Empathizing does not only enhance a story when writing it, it does it even more, when reading. The best books I read, are the ones, were in my imagination, I could place myself inside (one of) the main character(s). When that happens, a story comes alive for me, I see it happen in my head. Those stories are the ones, I can't abandon, until I'm finished, the ones, that make waiting for the next chapter torture.
It's a good thing, I'm bulletproof then, because the end of the line has just been blessed with my presence!
Sorry, I'm not into politics, I just happen to like this spot
