I've had the nickname of loops for almost 35 years. Lately some have called me fruit loops or fruity loops. That's where my nickname came from. I'm going to write the story of the name loops when I have time. It's a good story involving a football game, getting married, a broken hand, some hickeys, and of course eating cereal.

Who is your favorite Dr. Who?
It's a joke in my family that all the boys are just monkeys with their tails cut off. The laughing chimp reminds me of home.

They say you never appreciate something or someone until they're gone. I know I need to show more appreciation of you because you were greatly missed.
Welcome back dear Dave. I guess during your absence you lost some of your observational skills. Obviously you failed to see me back here. That makes you a loser just like the rest of these young whipper-snappers.
I wish I was stronger. Today I was weak and let the pain control my day.
Cheryl Leopard. She was smart (honor student), athletic (track team), and beautiful. She never believed how lovely a person she was, she listened to other people who told her she was not special. We were together for my last two years of high school. She was one grade behind me. I really thought she was the one until she had an affair with one of my best friends. To this day a part of my heart still pines for her. She was perfect in every way except she didn't really love me. I miss her sometimes.

Which celebrity do you find most desirable?
I did know better, but I forgot, I think.

I want to give our nameless Poppet one moment of perfect clarity and understanding. Then she could know how perfect and wonderful that we find her to be.
The Quiet Man

One of my all-time favorite movies. A John Ford romantic comedy starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. I can not say enough about 'The Quiet Man'. If you have never seen it you should go out a get it today. Give me an address and I'll send you a copy (region 1, sorry PAL users)
While you gawk, I win.

Yeah!! 400 posts!!! 100 more and I get a badge!!!
How sorry my life must be to be this excited about the number of posts I have.
I'm pitiful!
My first kiss was with Darline. We were eight years old and were playing house in her families storage shed. I was the daddy and I 'dipped' her like we were dancing and gave her a big smooch just like in the movies. We played many times. Thank God I never went through the 'I hate girls' phase.

My first 'real' kiss was with Pam D. (last name not given to protect the innocent) We were in 5th grade. We held hands for three weeks and I was in heaven. She was tall and blond and very beautiful. (for a fifth grader) She asked if I was ever going to kiss her. I told her I was so scared of messing everything up that I was waiting for the perfect time. (I had been thinking about her birthday coming up). She grabbed me. Pulled me close and kissed me. She was perfect. She tasted so sweet and as we hugged tightly I would have sworn I heard angels singing. We kissed and hugged a lot that summer.

Who was the first person to break your heart?
There's a site on the internet
And it serves a hundred tales a day
Lonely sailors pass the time away
And talk about their homes

And there's a girl in this Stories Space
And she works 'takin' my place
They say "Rebel, draw a smiley face"
She makes them laugh and play

The members say "Rebel, you're a fine girl"
"What a good wife you will be"
"Yeah your eyes could steal a sailor from the sea"

Brandy wears a lovely smile
Made of happiness that's her style
A heart that bears no shame
She has so many friends

He came on a summer's day
Playin' lead as is his way
But he made it clear he couldn't stay
He didn't want to lie

The young man said " Rebel, you're a fine girl"
"What a good wife you will be"
"But my life, my lover, my lady is the stage"

Yeah, Rebel used to watch his eyes
When he told his many stories
She could feel the audience rise
She saw its stand'in glory
But he had always told the truth, lord, he was an honest man
And Rebel does her best to understand

At night when the plays close down
Rebel walks through a silent town
And loves a man who's not around
She still can hear him say

She hears him say " Rebel, you're a fine girl"
"What a good wife you will be"
"But my life, my lover, my lady is the stage"

Distracted you. I win
We do as we will, because we are free.
True knowledge illuminates and liberates while ignorance veils our wisdom and holds us in bondage.

Was your first kiss started by you, or the other person? (pets & family don't count)
