My heart breaks today
My sweet sister has died
She was loved in so many ways
All we can do is cry

Lord, please look after her
Guide her to everlasting life

She was a mother, sister, and wife

Jesus is waiting for you there
He'll take care of you tonight
Lord, please hear our prayers

Your sister is in a better place
She's no longer living in pain
Jesus welcomes her with a full embrace
Her death was peaceful and humane

When it's time you'll be reunited
Friends and family will wait for you
Up in heaven you need to be invited
For now, we all have to make do

* - I wrote this for my sister-in-law. Her sister found out she had cancer, but it was much too late to do anything about it. She was a person who didn't believe in doctors and/medicine. She probably could have saved herself if she went to a doctor. xo
