Searching for a Midas place of pleasure

Alone in this darkness,
no others in the universe,
nothing to see or hear.

Eyes seemingly blind,
forever beside myself,
only silence gracing my ear.

Solitude not so serene,
loneliness being my prison,
why do I venture here?

I need to set myself free,
escape from my alter self,
challenge a new frontier.

Somewhere not so sullen,
somewhere others exist,
somewhere I do not fear.

A cosmos filled with light,
full of pleasurable sounds,
no unhappiness, only cheer.

A Midas place of pleasure,
acceptance being the model,
not one sheds a doleful tear.

Can such a place ever exist,
where everyone can be free,
a planet where love is pure?

A world without pain or anxiety,
kindness and toleration exists,
truth the rule, nothing to fear.
