When a child's innocence is lost
Does anyone see the true cost
Taken much before they are prepared
Thoughts confused often being scared
By someone who's wanting to steal
Their genuine intent they'll conceal
Only caring about their need
Consumed by lust and greed
Does not matter who they hurt
Words of admiration they blurt
Gaining trust and appreciation
Locking them into domination
Leading these cherubs to slaughter
Our youth our Son and Daughter
Using and abusing brains and body
Young trusting minds they embody
Destroying every bit of self esteem
Pushing their psyche to the extreme
When set aside for another conquest
Life long guilt they are left to digest
Background for malicious cycles
Been done to me now it entitles
Furthering much more pain and loss
When innocent young minds we toss
Just to satisfy greedy lustful play
Souls forever lost and cast away
Something in fantasy some adults enjoy
In reality something one shouldn't deploy
Does no one see the real cost
When naive children are lost
Predatory hunters chase them everyday
Trophies collected being put on display
When a child's innocence is the cost
Our Angels vanish and are forever lost
