Author's Notes

"You too can be a "conduit" for joy! Ask how others are doing and actively listen to their response. Encourage others that are down-hearted. Bring a smile to those who are saddened. These are but some of the things we can do. It doesn't take much. We may not be able to bring "joy to the world", but, we can do our part (small as it may seem) to bring joy to those in and around "our world." It may seem like a small stone in a big pond, but from it ripples extend outward."

As a conduit, I'm humbly used with glee,

Bringing joy to others, a gift to see.

Through these hands, good things are made to flow,

Benefiting others, my heart doth begin to glow.

With every act, I feel grateful and blessed,

Thankful for the role I play, and the joy I've guessed.

In seeing others happy, my spirit takes flight,

Filled with delight, at the goodness in sight.

Their smiles and laughter, a treasure to me,

A reward for being a part of their glee.

With humble gratitude, I accept this part,

A conduit for joy, a humble heart.

In being a vessel, for good to abound,

I'm thankful for the love that's shared all around.
