The Roses

You only see the beauty of a lie ...

Every Anniversary we had,
Sending roses and cakes,
Written greeting card with it,
Beside an everyday kisses.

Warm hugs when we sleep
Of lovers afraid to be parted.
Sincere I love yous are more than
That of a million bunch of flowers.

Sweetness soon fades away
Lovely it may be, to be wilted soon
Flowers are now given to cover a lie
Enough to be doing again next year.

The thought of loving forever,
Just like the love of the person
Whom that gave them to me, with
The Judas kiss that goes with it.

How beautiful a lie that can slowly
Kill someone you promised
To behold in sickness, in health,
Till death do part, without killing.

Once again the death of me,
Thorns like a stainless steel
Razor sharp edged knife
Bought imported from Europe

The tip pointed to my heart
Slowly inch by killing inch
A gift of double edged knife
That can end the sufferings

Of a crazy woman with a broken heart.
