That's tough, considering the amount of gigs I see in a year. In terms of raw energy, David Grimason from Psyko Dalek (who have unfortunately split, but I think it's temporary). In terms of talent and enthusiasm, Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil. And finally, in terms of sexiness and pure emotion, KT Tunstall. If I had to pick a favourite out of the aforementioned, I think I'd go for Cristina Scabbia, with KT Tunstall coming a very close second.

Do you ever get so annoyed with people talking amongst themselves, even if they are being quiet and unannoying, that you just have to leave the room, so you don't do them an injury?

LOL! I've been annoyed by that and tempted to leave the room, but I don't recall ever actually doing so.

I like feelings. I think if you can convey the feeling of a scene, the looks sort of fall into place. I do like to leave just enough to the imagination, so that it becomes more personal to the reader/listener. I like the way Stephen King describes a scene, sometimes in gory detail, others just leaving it up to the reader to decide.
