Have you seen 'Hannibal Brooks'?

A prisoner of war working at a zoo gets the chance to escape from the Germans, so he does and he takes with him the elephant that he's been caring for. Together they head for the Swiss border and freedom.

The old bookshop owner had something special for Dave.

Dash - Writer's Block competition entry

Just such a fascinating, darkly humorous depiction of various car crash personalities living in complete denial but totally devoted to their craft... that being porn films.

I absolutely loved Boogie Nights. I think too many people dismissed it. The part with Sister Christian playing was great!

Oh God, yeah. The Alfred Molina Sister Christian scene is so dark and freaky, it totally weirded me out with the tension just winding and winding, and it was the icing on the cake of that entire sequence depicting everyone's lowest point in the film. That and Mark Wahlberg in the recording studio were highlights.

An American Werewolf in London is a classic, too! Love the humour and some scenes were just so disturbing. Fell in love with Jenny Agutter while watching. smile

One of the coolest gangster films. Connery was amazing, Costner was a perfect uptight Elliot Ness, and Deniro looked like he was having so much fun playing Capone. Train station scene is classic DePalma.

The movie that started a 7-year obsession with Japanese movies and television shows that didn't resolve itself until I visited the country for the second time.

I watch it a minimum of two or three times a year.
Unstoppable. I swear it's been running on a loop on HBO/Cinemax. It's not particularly good but it is entertaining. I keep watching it when it comes on, at least five times by now.

Not particularly a Tarantino fan but I can watch Deathproof over and over.

This is one of my absolute favorite horror movies. I will watch it at a minimum of once a week this month. Don't judge me.
