Lobster or Crab?

Oo, that's tough. I like both, really. Probably give a slight edge to lobster but it also depends where I am. On my first trip to China to visit/meet my in-laws I swear I had at least half a dozen different varieties of crab. But when my wife lived in Halifax, a walk to a seafood market to get fresh lobster was the thing (though she always mixed up a Chinese crab dip for it).

Read the book.

Star Wars or Star Trek?

Star Trek, especially The Next Generation episodes.

Sci Fi or historical fiction?

Used to be sci fi but not so sure anymore. Don't read much historical and when I do, it's usually borderline fantasy.

Iced tea sweet or not?

I don't like tea in any form. Hot or iced.

A bowl of ice cream or an ice cream treat on a stick?

Bowl. I like ice cream in any form but the stick stuff gets messy.

Read a novel or a short story anthology?

I like short stories if I don't have much time, but novels for a longer block of time.

A walk on the beach or a walk in the woods?

Walk in the woods. Love sounds of nature and the peace and quiet without the crowds at the beach. Plus, not a sun worshipper.

Classroom, in-person or virtual, on-line college (or other) class?

Depends what I am learning. If it is a subject requiring a lot of interaction, like a philosophy seminar or class, still think a classroom works best. If it is straight-up learning a skill or something, then virtual or even self-study (I got my MS certification by self-study, for instance).

Host a party or be a guest at a party?

Hosting a party is more work that most people think it is. Plus you have an obligation to see it through regardless. Attendance requires your presence, but how long is up to you. So attend; easier to extricate yourself if the party begins to sour.

Skiing the Austrian Alps or the Colorado Rockies?

Well, I don't ski, but if I did, I could be happy with either. I've hiked the Colorado Rockies and visited the Alps, albeit on the Swiss side. Probably Colorado, though, if it was just for skiing. Closer to home.

Bake a dessert or buy one at a good bakery?

Bake a dessert. I'm always a fan of home cooking, whether I'm doing it myself or at a diner or a mom-and-pop restaurant.

Audio book or read a book?

Read a book. I have tried audiobooks, but my brain always wanders.

Broccoli or cauliflower?

Broccoli in a pinch, but both are good. My wife does an amazing stir fry with cauliflower and either white or shitake mushrooms.

Cooked veggies or a salad?

Lately, I have been making a lot of roasted vegetables on the grill. I appreciate a good salad, too, but for now, it's roasted veggies for me.

Roasted beets or pickled beets in a jar?

Either is good, I love beets. But if had to choose, prefer pickled.

Board game, although I find few guys who would agree.

Smaller, more intimate setting. I absolutely hate crowds and make every effort to avoid them.

Hamburgers. I'm a beef girl. Hot dogs are good too, though.

This one for sure. I like just laying on a beach chair with a book and/or music and that works much better when I have some space and less noise.

Sedan or SUV?

Depends on trip and destination. For just scenic driving, a sedan is much more comfortable. But if you're getting off the road, or off improved highways, then an SUV. Same for camping or similar. SUV. But generally, sedan is much more comfortable and you can enjoy the trip better and longer.

Ice cream in a cone or in a bowl?

Bowl. I tend to drop cones.

Plain ice cream or make a sundae?

Sundae. With nuts. Chocolate or Carmel syrup with vanilla ice cream. Cherry on top, of course, with whipping cream too.
