Not sure how Southern style differ from my Canadian flapjacks, but I'll suspect they are good. Loves me some Southern cooking and I don't get down there as much as I used to.

It's past lunch so some green tea would be in order.

Thanks, This is a Supplier Audit to ISO-9001:2015 standards. We are performing a Class II FDA recall on their behalf. So far, so good. Makes me happy!

Yes, it is the best nickel-per-pound coffee in the Americas. It is often a biotic growth medium.

It's the reason I only drink coffee from here.

Throw a log on the fire and some extra grounds in the pot. The temp FEELS LIKE -12 F right now. That's -24 C at the moment. Tomorrow morning it will FEEL LIKE -25 F (-31 C). Time to snuggle for a couple of days. Irish coffee, please.

Snow blowing the driveway; four inches this morning. COLD and miserable. (Me. Not the weather. The weather is horrible.) Still need hot black tea with 3 Ricola lozenges and two spoonfuls of honey. Cough, cough, cough, cough. Sneeze! Oops, sorry about that. Don't stand too close! Looks like the high temps this week are in the negative numbers.~How thrilling~

Sounds much like my day/week as well. A forecast 10-15cm of snow has begun to fall and it's supposed to be cold right through the weekend.

Need to keep my caffeine levels moderate after having some insomnia on the weekend so I'll take a lemon ginger herbal tea.

Shovelled a pile last night, then had to deal with the snowbank the plow created in the end of the drive overnight when I got up this morning. A blower is looking more and more appealing all the time, but if I get one, my car will have to park outside year-round (our garage is tiny and barely holds both cars so we park mine outside in the summer to make room for the mower and wheelbarrow) or we'll have to put in a shed.

Caffeinating with David's Breakfast Blend this morning. Nice, flavourful black tea blend.

Rain, sleet, snow and dropping temperatures. The wind chill will be in the negative numbers tomorrow. Thankfully I don't have to be outside.

I'll just settle into a comfy couch here and sip on a ginger ale.

It was a long day but I finally finished cleaning out my parent's attic, sheds, and utility room.

I'm too old to be carrying things down three flights of steps.

I want to spare my children that experience and haven't figured that out yet. I've thrown out most things purchased in my twenties and thirties. I'm less successful with "stuff" from my forties and fifties. Am open to anyone's wise advice on this.

More tea and honey, please. Is there a small piece of lemon cake around?

Stuff just gathers! I'm not a hoarder and pretty good at throwing old things out but all the same, it just seems to grow on its own!
