*puts cookies in the cookie jar and fills the food and water dishes for the little adorable mascots *
Yay the coffee is doing its thing and smells so good

Today's cookies are peanut butter and banana, peanut butter ginger snaps and strawberry shortcake cookies
Off to do my grocery shopping (FINALLY)

Hmmm. From that list, I'll have a Peanut Butter Ginger Snap. Kettles on. Anyone else for tea.

Nothing much doing save packing for vacation. Jamaica looms. If I come back talking funny and wearing dreads (yeah right, like I'd ever have hair long enough), just ignore me. I'll get over it after a week or too.

Good afternoon, all. I spent a couple of hours looking at materials to use in renovating our kitchen. We are putting in new countertops, backsplash, lighting fixtures, and the sink with a new faucet. We are hiring a man to do the work with the supplies we have him get. It will be nice to have someone else do all of the actual work involved.

Nice treats today, Sara. I hope all of us can get some writing done soon.

How y'all are? Me, I was better but I'm getting over that. ;)

Coffee's on. And for the nasty nice types who may be among us, yes, the pot has been washed and filled with fresh, maybe even clean, water.

Now what we (and by 'we' I mean, 'me') needs is a batch of cinnamon rolls to help this coffee go down. That is, of course, just IMO.

Cinnamon Rolls? Ah'm on it, sir. I hate walking past Cinnabon in the local mall. That smell just makes me hungry. But I shall brave the temptation to get us a couple dozen of them beauties.

Oscars tonight. Anyone else going out of their way to avoid them or is that just me? (a) I have seen barely anything this year movie-wise and (b) awards shows (save some of the better music awards shows) bore me to tears. I am happy to just watch the highlights on Youtube and read the lists of winners.

Evening, y'all. According the various weather god, the sun has just set out here in the desert. Temps soared up into the low 70's today but we'll try to endure the unendurable with no complaints (those are saved for the summer)

(btw, someone has done some serious damage to Sara's cookies -- wipes crumbs off fingertips to keep typing -- no accusations much less denunciations, just telling it like it is)

Morning to all Spacey Spacers. Coffee is ready, willing and able to get you going.

Sara, dog-wise, what infests our place is a Tibetan Terrier -- that came from the Austin Animal Shelter. She and four other litter mates were discovered looking for a good time in downtown Austin.

Best way to find out what they look like is to look up a photo with Google images. That what I had to do having never heard of the fool things.

As to why no photos etc., well, when we first got her I could still see a bit but by now I've given up on that seeing foolishness which makes taking pics and messing with them difficult to impossible. BTW, Her name is 'G. G.( as in 'Gorgeous Girl).

The Wiki entry on Tibetan "Terriers", which apparently aren't terriers at all, but rather are part of the Asian lineage that includes the Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso. Lot of pictures in there so hopefully one of them resembles Rump's.
