Sarah, I am glad your Mom is at home now. Hopefully, she'll recover quickly.
Larry, I feel your pain. When we get new electronics we have my oldest son come and set everything up. When he comes to visit I usually have a list of things, computer-related I need him to fix. At least he keeps his eye-rolling to a minimum.
My excitement today was going to the ATM to deposit a check. The next most exciting thing was turning on the AC in the house.
I'll have a few cookies and some lemonade.
Cheers!
Exciting Larry to get new things. Just hoping "appears that it won't be too difficult..." doesn't cast a black cloud over your house.
Today is hot and super muggy. And I decided this was a good day to work outside on the back porch. I had gotten all my plants for the flower pots and planted them. Then checking them this morning I see where a squirrel (huge scary things) dug up a germanium! So began the outside work. Had some epson salts that is to be used on plants, so read the directions and I'll see if they live or die.
Had windchimes hung on one side of porch with hummingbird feeder and suet cake holders. Last night or early morning? Suet cage and all is missing from the chain. The hummer's water probably needs changing. I have all these friends and neighbors with tonnage of hummingbirds every year, I have only attracted one and now he's left. Another chore for outside.
Sara so pleased about your mother and hope she continues to get stronger. I will have 2 cookies, no...wait, 5 cookies. And iced tea please.
Just caught your latest Scamp story, Sara and it's an absolute delight! Glad your mom is improving and Tyson is supervising!
Hope both Bill and Larry get their technological stuff sorted okay. We all depend so much on it!
We're having absolutely glorious weather here at the moment. So nice to get some sunshine as we know it won't last! I'll snag a chocolate covered cherry cookie with my lemon and ginger tea. Thanks, Sara!
Just catching up on everyone's news here. Glad your mom is improving, Sara (closely supervised by Tyson!) And glad you are back online, Larry.
All is find here. This week the weather has flipped from being hit and sunny to gale force winds, rain and being positively cold! Oh, the joys of an Irish summer!
I'll grab and coffee and a handful of those delicious biscuits, Sara! Hope everyone's having a good day.
Nice weather here in Southern Ontario, if a bit too warm and muggy for my taste. Supposed to get cooler, though.
Sorry I'm scarce. So many forums, so little time.
All is well around here. Hope June is going to be an improvement over May, but I'm not seeing much evidence of it except in the weather.
* find a pecan divine left * Perfect to with an afternoon green tea.
Sonja did not have a cat. So why was this one making itself at home in her house?

The metal singer made Brenda an interesting offer, but was her interest in the music ... or him?

The new hospital protocols are hard to get used to.
My middle son had been in pain for a while and finally agreed to let me take him to the ER. I was not allowed to go in with him. He's an adult but having him go in alone seemed wrong. Turned out he had appendicitis.
I dropped him off at two-thirty pm and he had surgery at eight and was home by nine-thirty. When he was ready to be picked up they brought him down to our car. He's doing well now. It was a weird day.
Thankfully it happened this week and not two weeks from now. We are going to the Outer Banks, North Carolina for a lovely week at the beach. My oldest son and his wife are going to be there and my middle son and his girlfriend. The youngest was going to come but his girlfriend can not leave Germany at the moment. Thankfully NC has opened its beaches. There is a lot of room on the beach to keep your distance. I have a stack of books to read beachside and board games to annoy my kids.
It's turned hot and humid here, so I'll have a lemonade.
Sarah, thanks for the cookies. I'll have a few and catch up on some reading.
I hope everyone is doing well.
Cheers!
